Access Book Volunteer Event & Book Drive
Kenter Canyon is proud to once again partner with Access Books to help transform a local Los Angeles school library. Our goal is to collect 2,500 new or gently used reading books for students in grades TK-5. Following our book drive, Kenter students, alumni, teachers, and staff will work side by side with the Coliseum Elementary School community to help rebuild their school library and classroom libraries. Aspiring artists are also needed to help paint a literary themed mural for the school library. Since 1999, Access Books has helped refurbish over 350 libraries and donated more than 2 million books.
