This opportunity for free after-school care will be available for 10 students between grades TK/K, 20 students between grades 1-2, and 20 students between grades 3-4-5. It requires daily attendance until 5:45 PM.

Enrollment priority will be given to eligible families based on the MTAM (More Than a Meal application).

Orchestra

The Kenter Canyon Elementary Instrumental Music Program partners with the Orchestra Place and is open to all students from first to fifth grade. For more than thirty years, our award-winning orchestra program provides the best practices in music education. These include an emphasis on critical thinking skills, clear expectations and attention to the California standards in the performing arts. We teach students at every grade level and use a sequential, spiral curriculum to provide a music program that builds from one year to the next – always offering challenge for different levels, abilities and grades.

Instruction is provided every Wednesday that school is in session from mid-September through April — culminating in a year-end full orchestra concert. Please click here for more information and to register!
